today was...........
bus painting day
n

which took up 8am-8pm of my saturday

supposed to meet cheryl n guoping n caroline at the lounge at 9am
but
i overslpt
sorri la
ppl slpt at 3:30am den had nightmare the whole nite
so couldn't wake up
but ya, when i reached, the 3 of them were already there.. haven start painting yetx though, cheryl onli managed to mix the paint.. the rest managed to paint the whole exterior during the past 2 days though.. its a bright shade of yellow.. lemon yellow if i'm not wrong.. but ya.. due to the colour, its now internally termed as the 'magic school bus'.. those who dun uds haf no childhood.. hahaz..
so me, gp, cheryl were supposed to paint the ceiling of the upper decks (interior, if is exterior we'll be calling it roof, not ceiling).. so we laid the floor n chairs we newspapers, n got to work.. here's the stupid part.. coz the ceiling was quite low, when i stood up, my hair will brush against the ceiling.. so i did not wan to get my hair all yellow.. juzz cut.. so i made a newspaper hat.. to protect myself.. which cheryl gave me a new nickname 'diary milk lady'.. tot is was a pretty smart plan.. BUT.... due to the nature of painting ceilings, i had to look at the ceiling.. the result was.. the paint dripped n splattered on my face instead of my hair... -.-"........ shuld haf made a face mask too..... but aniway, at least my hair is ok, unlike cheryl n gp, who had both hair n face turned yellow.. n gp was screaming 1/2 the time wheneva paint dripped on his shoes n pants..
the upper decks was seriously stuffy.. onli 2 small windows could be opened n no air-con.. made us pelt sweat bullets.. n took us like 2hrs+ to paint the entire ceiling.. had to lay newspapers, shift newspapers, use thinner to remove all painting mistks, be careful not to paint the aircon, seats, lights n floor (which we failed miserably).. n we got so bored 1/2way tt cheryl n gp played tic-tac-toe on the ceiling, while we signed our names.. n the thinner/paint mixture stinged our eyes real bad.. but when it was done.. ahhh... pure satisfaction... 1st time painting SBS bus.. beat tt ppl..

break for lunch...
after which was GM...
2 to 5+...
pretty long n heated meeting..
shall ignore it here...

after which we went back to painting the bus.. tis time to do the designing of the exterior.. caroline did a nice job of painting STUDENTS at the back of the bus, nice design too.. hahaz.. *clap clap*.. jessica did a gd job of painting the guy n gal n the lower corner of the side of the bus too.. looks real neat *clap clap too* n here comes the 2 *ahem ahem* 'artistic' painters of SC.. yxiu n rebecca.. who.... ermz.... painted... or attempted to paint.... a music note... a weird looking book... a snail.... an apple.... a BIG smiley face..... 2 flowers.... a stick man n stick woman wif a heart..... which gave the comment of the day frm i forgot who.. who said.. "wah.. tjc become kindergarden!"... which.. sorri rebby n yxiu, but i had to agree.. in the end.. rebby n yxiu had to erase off all their drawings.. *phew*.. hence the bus was saved... den went to paint the letters TJC at the front of the bus.. where the bus number usually is at.. in a shade of green.. looks ok...
juzz when we were planning to leave... an unfortunate accident happened... which liat beng made a veri true comment.. tt.. although investiture is coming, our term still isn't up.. sighx... left sch at 8+, went for dinner b4 heading home...
